 The Sacrifices of Women

Women tend to put themselves last while taking care of everyone else.   But, just like your car, if you don’t get regular tune-ups, you will soon develop problems, and your bodies will break down.

The stress and trials of life produce a lot of wear and tear on your body, and just as some people don’t take good care of their vehicles, many ladies don’t take good care of their health.

Who you are

You are mothers, wives, caretakers, sisters, daughters, nieces, cousins, friends, co-workers, granddaughters, career women, homemakers, students, and the list goes on.

For many, it takes years to realize you’ve neglected yourself, and you don’t notice it until you start having health problems.

One day you wake up and say, “Where has the time gone?”  “I didn’t write that paper or finish school.”   “What about the trip I never took?”.  “There was never enough time for me.”   “Question – What are you going to do with what you’ve got left?

You Can’t Change the Past

There is nothing you can do about things that you should of, would of or could have accomplished.  Yesterday is gone forever.  You can’t do anything about it, but you can change how today will affect tomorrow.

So…listen up.  I have just one question to ask you.  It’s the same question I asked myself. “What are you going do with what you’ve got left?  That’s right, the years you have remaining or the time you have to make a change?

Decision Time

What are you going to do with the time you have left to exercise and get healthy?  What about those goals you didn’t reach, dreams you lost sight of, and relationships that need salvaging?  What are you going to do about your health?

Are you neglecting the physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental aspects of your life? You may not be happy with the previous chapters of your life, but remember, you write the end of your story.  Change is necessary and there’s no day like today. So, come on lady, let’s get started!
