Welcome to My fit Lady.  This site focuses on life balance and fitness. I’m a Registered Nurse and Life Coach.

I am an information researcher and like to discover and research practically anything.  Writing has always been a part of my life.

Over a year ago I watched a YouTube video on acrylic painting and discovered, I could paint, and I enjoy it!   It is very relaxing and therapeutic.

Music is an integral part of my life not just as a listener, but as a participant.

It’s true, you’re never too old to learn something new.

My desire is for women to be in optimum health.  I believe that small steps can eventually lead to huge victories.

How My Fit Lady Got Started

During a chaotic time in my life, I attempted to find resources to help me get through an emotionally draining period.

My life was hectic, stressful and I was managing everything except myself. I let myself go, not consciously or deliberately, but things just got out of control.

When I finally addressed the issues and began to understand how closely connected my emotional state affected my physical, mental and emotional health.

I noticed how closely interconnected they all were and that addressing one and neglecting another was a losing battle.

As a nurse, I often work on the disease spectrum of wellness.  I would like to spend more time working on the preventive side of providing a community where women can help and support each other.
